Checkout.com is on the lookout for a dedicated Analyst I for our Scheme Reporting team, who will play a crucial role in supporting the operational integrity of our payment processing services. Payout products are quickly gaining momentum and the New Product Operations team are looking for a dedicated Analyst to process Pay to Card and Pay to Bank applications.
You'll perform tailored risk assessment on new applications and submit them to the Card Schemes. You'll have the opportunity to learn VISA and MasterCard rules and will need to stay ahead of any changes to them. This role offers unique exposure to our core business areas, collaborating closely with key internal teams - Business Development, Sales, Legal, Compliance and Senior Management. Alongside this, you'll collaborate with some of our high value Merchants and Partners.
The successful candidate will be integral to the foundational operations of our scheme reporting processes, aligning with global payment scheme guidelines and the company's overarching growth objectives. This role offers the chance to engage in a broad spectrum of compliance and reporting activities, ensuring scalable and efficient management of merchant data and compliance standards

How you’ll make an impact
Perform risk assessments on regulatory, Card Schemes compliance related to the Pay to Card product (Visa Direct and Mastercard).
Work on Pay to Bank, Pay to Card, Account Funding Transaction applications.
Collaborate with Commercial team and external partners to collect required documents/information.
Submit applications to the Card Schemes and maintain a proper follow up.
Keep track of applications and always maintain internal trackers up to date.
Work with the Commercial team and other partners to complete merchant change requests related to Pay to Card/Pay to Bank.
Perform mandatory registration and reporting to the Schemes.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within the financial services or payments industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Obsessed with slick processes, always aiming for simplicity and efficiency.
Ability to approach problems in a qualitative manner, always working to find a solution.
Good understanding of AML, Due Diligence and Risk Management is key as well as being able to quickly identify risks. Having proven working experience in the AML/KYC field would be an advantage. Readiness to work with lively schedules and tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Pay to Card and Pay to Bank products is not required but will constitute a definite advantage.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
