Albert Trading Ltd., the sole distributor of Makita in Mauritius and a leading supplier of professional tools and equipment for the construction and industrial sectors, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Technician to join its After-Sales Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and service power tools and equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and testing to ensure tools meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts replaced, and service reports.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal sales teams.
• Ensure tools are repaired within agreed timelines and to quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining the workshop, tools, and spare parts inventory.

Profile & Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in repairing power tools, small electrical or mechanical equipment would be an advantage.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, workshop
• Located in Port Louis
• Mon to Fri: 08h30 > 17h,
• Sat: 08h30 > 13h.
• May be required to do overtime from time to time.
