The Assistant Storekeeper assists the Head Storekeeper in managing all the operations in the storeroom.

 

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant Storekeeper to support the Storekeeper in managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of our storage and warehouse facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Receive, unload, and shelves supplies – on receipt of goods, raise GIC/GRN for recording.
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing for overseas sales.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
  • Performs perpetual stock counts.

Qualifications:

  • SC
  • At least 2 years in storekeeping
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
