1. The concept for the Jobseekers:
Our aim is to provide a user friendly and free tool for the job seekers to make his experience easier in his or her search for jobs.

The job seeker will have to insert his or her CV on myjob.mu to have access to the following:
- Apply for the job which suits his/ her profile.
- To be contacted by companies who are interested in her/ his CV for any potential job offer. Please note that the CV will have full confidentiality if the choosen CV is private. This mean that companies will see only the main part of your CV excluding your name and other contact details. On the other hand, if you want your name and contact details to be seen, then the Public option must be choosen when doing a CV.

2. Where to find the member companies on myjob.mu:
Go to ‘’Companies’’ which is found on the home page.
Information regarding their profile, contact details and actual vacancies will be available.

3. How to do a CV on the web site:
1. Click on: ‘’New to my job/ Do your CV’’ or on ‘’Post my CV’ on the home page.
2. Select the level of confidentiality for your CV. The Public or Private option as explained in point 1 above.
3. Fill in the form.
4. Approve the ‘’Terms & Conditions’’ and then click on ‘’Create’’
5. You will receive a confirmation message. Please read carefully and follow the steps which will ask you to check your email to find your username and password.
6. THEN go back to www.myjob.mu to login with the same username and password to access your free account.
7. IMPORTANT STEP: At this stage, you will now be able to complete your CV by adding ‘’Education’, ‘’Experience’’, ‘’Languages’’ and other details.
8. In your free account will be able to do the following:
a. Apply for existing jobs offers.
b. Change your password.
c. Activate / disable your CV.
d. Update your CV.
e. Add your ID picture
f. Check your inbox for messages received from potential recruiters.

4. How to look for job offers:
Go to either of three the following: “Find jobs”, “Search jobs by categories” or “Last vacancies” which are all found on the home page. You will be able to filter the job offers by date, by company, by location or by category.

5. How to apply for a job:
In all case, the job seeker must do his/ her CV first which is explain in point 2 above to be able apply for the job.
When the seeker is registered and has already done his/her CV, then login with the name and password in the job seekers corner and then click on Find jobs.
The job seeker may then select his/ her job offer and click on “apply” at the bottom of the page. A final page will open to enable the job seeker to insert his/ her motivation letter. Then just click send and it will go directly to the company’s job offer.
The company’s job offer will reply to the job seeker’s application on both his/ her inbox on the web site and the user name mail address.

6. Non-Citizens of Mauritius:

Occupation Permit in/for Mauritius :

There is an Occupation Permit that enables eligible non-citizens to work and live in Mauritius for a maximum period of 3 years. This permit is provided by the Board of Investment (BOI), which is an agency responsible for the promotion of investments in Mauritius.

Mauritius provides a flat Tax rate of 15% for both personal and corporate income.
