1. TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.1. By using this site, you are declaring your acceptance to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Empowerment Programme reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you. Users are responsible for reviewing regularly information posted online.
1.2. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended.
2. REGISTRATION AS EMPLOYER
2.1. Once you apply for registration as employer, you will have first read and agree to all the terms and conditions for using this website and take cognizance of the parameters of the Placement for Training Programme.
2.2 When applying for registration, you will provide us with complete, accurate and current information as required by the registration form.
If it is found that you have given false information, your application for registration as Employer will be rejected and neither the Empowerment Programme nor Myweb Ltd will enter into any correspondence with you in that respect
2.3 The Empowerment Programme reserves the right to refuse registration to any employer, without having to give any reason for such refusal.
3. USE OF CONTENT
3.1 The content and databases on the website, including all text, images, logos, buttons, software and other Web Site content are, unless specified, protected by national and international intellectual property laws, and are owned by My Web Ltd or the Empowerment Programme.
3.2 Use of the website does not give a user any ownership in or to any of that content.
3.3 The information to which your company or any authorized member of your staff will have access to once your registration as an employer is accepted, is strictly for the purpose of taking unemployed in your company on placement/training under the Empowerment Programme. The information cannot be used for any other purpose by your company nor can your company divulge it to any other party even for free. In particular, you are bound by the provisions of the Data Protection Act and cannot use or divulge the personal information of the unemployed to which you will have access except for the purpose of the Placement for Training Programme.
3.4 You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, as well as that of all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify My Web Ltd immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. My Web Ltd will not be liable for any loss that may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by My Web Ltd or any another party due to someone else using your account or password.
You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the express and written permission of the account holder.
4.1 UNLAWFUL AND PROHIBITED USE
4.1 As a condition of your use of the Services, you will not use the services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the myjob.mu server.
4.2 You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any myjob.mu server or to any Services, through hacking, password mining or any other means.
4.3 You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the services
4.4 Save as herein provided, you are prohibited from using or removing any content from the myjob.mu website by any means for commercial purposes. Where such use of materials is desired,a written permission should be requested from Myweb Ltd and a written consent should be provided, before such use can be made.
5. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
5.1 While using this website you may access third party web sites through links. Such third party websites are not under our control and My Web Ltd is not responsible for the availability of such sites or their contents.
5.2 Any links provided on the website are provided for your interest or convenience only and do not represent or imply any endorsement by My Web Ltd of such linked site and Myweb Ltd cannot be held liable for any loss or damage which may arise from use of such third party website or contracts entered into resulting from the use of such third party websites.
5.3 You acknowledge that the use of such third party websites is governed by the terms and conditions of use applicable to such sites.
6. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
6.1 In no event will the Empowerment Programme or My Web Ltd and/or its directors and/or its employees and/or agents be liable for any damages including, without limitation indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in action of contract or negligence, arising out of or in connection with the use of the site and of the Empowerment Programme Interactive Platform.
6.2 No warranty is given that this website shall be available on an uninterrupted basis, and no liability can be accepted in respect of losses or damages arising out of such unavailability.
6.3 The Empowerment Probgramme and My Web Ltd accept no liability whatsoever in respect of losses or damages arising out of changes made to the content of this website by any third parties. Access to and use of this website is at the user’s own risk.
7. ACCEPTANCE
7.1 If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted in full, the use of this site must be terminated immediately.
8. PROHIBITED USES BY JOBSEEKERS AND EMPLOYERS
8.1 Employers shall not respond to any unemployed who is registered on the Empowerment Programme Interactive Platform other than in connection with their application for a placement.
8.2 Any party who has registered himself as an employer intending to use the EPIP service, but who misuses this service to indulge in any business for any other reason not directly related with the Placement for Training Programme of the Empowerment Programme, shall commit a breach of this Agreement and shall be immediately deregistered and reported to the appropriate authorities and may result in civil or criminal liability.
8.3 Any communication to any unemployed registered on the database, other than for the purpose of offering a placement under the Placement for Training Programme is strictly prohibited and shall constitute a breach of the Terms and Conditions for registration as an employer on the EPIP and shall lead to immediate deregistration and may also result in civil or criminal liability.
8.4 Communications soliciting business for any other reason is prohibited. Any abuse should be reported to My Web Ltd or to the Empowerment Programme .
8.5 Employers shall not print, download, duplicate or otherwise copy or use any personally identifiable information about other users. All unsolicited communications of any type to users is strictly prohibited.
8.6 Employers are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of myjob.mu websites (or any other sites accessed through the Company’s websites) including, without limitation, accessing data not intended for them or logging into a server or account which they are not authorized to access, attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or attempting to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization, attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, or sending unsolicited email, including promotions and/or advertising of products or services. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability.
8.7 All users will not use My Web’s (myjob.mu) websites in order to transmit, distribute or store material in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or in any manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secrets or other intellectual property rights of others or violate the privacy or other personal rights of others, or that is libelous, obscene, threatening, abusive, racist or hateful.
9. NO GUARANTEE OF CONTINUITY
9.1 The Empowerment Programme and My Web Ltd will make their best endeavor to ensure continuous availability of the site and all the services available on it but accept no responsibility for the consequences of interruptions or delays, however caused.
9.2 The Empowerment Programme and My Web Ltd may, additionally, alter the design and specification of the site at any time.
