Web Designer - Ux/ui

RESPONSIBILITIES
Technomedia is seeking a Web Designer - UX/UI who will be responsible for the evolution and updating of the user experience in our product.

Successul candidates will be innovative, interested in developing strategies for improving customer experience, and enjoy working with decision-makers and outstanding programmers. If you meet these criteria, have mastered industry standards in responsive web design, and wish to work on dynamic projects for an international company, then this position is for you! Your responsiblilties will include the following:

• Analyze and make recommendations for improviing customer experience
• Design the architecture and ergonomics of our web-based application
• Define and document visual-display and ergonomic standards for our application
• Create various user-interface scenarios respecting web-accessibllity and wireframe standards and present them to decision-makers and development teams
• Integrate your own stylesheets and web programs as needed (CSS, HTML, and JQuery)
• Collaborate with project teams and working groups to develop user interfaces that meet customer requirements and expectations
• Conduct testing of new product features as necessary
• Work in conjunction with decision-makers and marketing teams to develop graphic elements which will be integrated into installation programs and applications
• Continually monitor the industry in order to remain up-to-date on current standards and best practices regarding user experience and information architecture

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor‘s degree or significant experience in IT, computer science or related technical fields
• 3 years’ experience in Web interface development or user experience design
• Bilingual English & French
• Experience in software programming, mobile design, Web accessibility (WCAG)
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards regarding user experience
• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Adobe Fireworks, and Photoshop
• Diploma in software ergonomics or training in design interaction on user systems (asset)
