Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, specialised in office furniture, is looking for a Technical & After Sales Coordinator.

 

Our client, specialised in office furniture, is looking for a Technical & After Sales Coordinator.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the successful candidate will monitor and manage the smooth running of the Technical and After-sales department and ensure administrative efficiency, proper procedures, implementation of policies and employee morale.
 
Duties and Accountabilities 
Key Results Areas (KRAs) and related principal duties and accountabilities (objectives)

  • Coordinate logistics of containers once they have reached Mauritius. Overview performance of third party furniture handling and transporting services (lorry carriers…). 
  • Ensure proper communication with Freight Associate for– ETA /ETD of containers for clearing purposes and handing over all necessary documents for removing containers from customs.
  • Plan daily & monthly deliveries and intervention with effectiveness in order to avoid any delays and save costs.
  • To organize storage of the company in order to optimize stock management.
  • To organize and follow up the in and outflows of items in stock in order to keep stocks up to date.
  • To do stock-takes at least two times a year and report to management. 
  • Ensure that In stock and items to be delivered directly at the clients to be properly tagged with the Company’s stickers as well as Stock Reference number item, date and so on.
  • Research and identify after-sales prospect opportunities with existing clients. Communicate all relative information to Sales Team for a proper follow-up on Sales opportunities.
  • Follow all safety procedures & practices on work site. Ensure respect of rules required by clients.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
  • Monitor performance of employees and coach as needed to ensure world class performance and timely reaction in case of difficult situations.
  • To participate in quality and improvement activities, training and any refresher course.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
  • Min 2 years’ experience

Candidate profile:

  • Punctual and well groomed.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Pro-active and autonomous.
  • Excellent time and project Management skills.
  • Good organisational, leadership and Human Resources Management skills
