Produce combined technical services shop and as-built drawings for coordination and support to in house team as well as standardisation of drawing database.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing the company drawing standards, policies and procedures and follow industry suggested best practices to ensure consistency throughout all drawings;
  • Work in collaboration with team members to produce detailed and accurate technical shop and as-built drawings related to HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV, Access Control, Audio & Video System, etc;                         
  • Update all drawings, details, sections, charts and specifications for construction based on mark-ups, calculations and written instructions provided by Engineering Team and submit for review & comments;               
  • Maintain, update and resolve problems concerning the technical CAD libraries, drawings'  standards, policies and procedures under the direction of the Manager and Senior team members;                      
  • Prepare routine design projects from layouts and sketches, engineering schematics and drawings, charts, graphs and illustrations and submit for review & comments;               
  • Create two‐dimensional and three‐dimensional renderings of the finished project using both manual and computer-based drawings and submit for review & comments;                 
  • Comply to site safety rules for visit of sites for preparation of shop, updated progress drawings and as-built drawings;                           
  • Coordinate architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans;                               
  • Perform other related administrative duties as assigned (updating, filing, archiving, etc…) for effective records;                                

 

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  •  Higher School Certificate;
  • Formal Training in AutoCAD;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as AutoCAD Draughtsman in an engineering environment.

 Other Requirements:

  • A valid driving license;
  • Knowledge of Building and Technical services;
  • Good knowledge of MS tools and MS project software;
  • Ability to use manual drafting skills to draw plans that cannot be done or generated by computer ;
  • Exposure in working of Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health  (MEP) and security services;
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and design principles involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings and models;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software (latest version) and other specialised engineering software.
