SAFYR UTILIS TAX SERVICES LTD (the “Company”), a company accredited with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK) as Chartered Tax Adviser, is currently recruiting a Tax Executive.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare tax computations and returns;
- Assist in tax reviews in cross border engagements;
- Undertake research on tax related matters;
- Assist in the preparation of write ups and training materials (including e-learning modules) for both internal and external purposes;
- Ensuring that SAFYR UTILIS TAX SERVICES LTD clients comply at all times with relevant statutory requirements;
- Assist in the development/implementation of corrective actions for resolution of problematic issues; and
- Generally deliver a seamless service to internal and external clients of the group.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Degree in law and management, finance or other accepted/equivalent qualification;
- A basic level understanding of the Mauritian tax system will be an advantage;
- Possess good writing skills in English;
- Good analytical skills;
- Hands on, self-motivated and naturally organized person; and
- Detail oriented and ability to multi task.
