The Stores Supervisor will report to the Stores Manager and will mainly be responsible of daily activities of the store& customer service.

 

Customer Service.

  • To understand and practice the concept of Internal & External Customer Service.
  • To take specific actions to enable the Company to actually provide excellence in customer service.
  • To practice effective feedback and communications to all parties concerned.

Quality.

  • Read, understand and implement the Quality Assurance Manual which describes in details the Systems and Procedures (ISO, HACCP, GMP or any other system in force at Meaders Feeds Ltd) in use & to ensure that effective & visible application of the concepts enunciated therein.
  • To actively participate in the continuous improvement programs of the Company.

Stores.

  • To plan, organise, co-ordinate and supervise all direct activities pertaining to stores functions as per the Quality Assurance Manual.
  • To manage the personnel working in the Stores Department.
  • To be proactive, honest, & fully transparent in ALL the undertakings taken in the name of the Company.
  • To keep updated and clear records of all undertakings made in the name of the Company with quick retrieval for checks, controls and audits as when these are required.
  • To organise ALL the activities by strictly adhering to the Occupational Health & Safety practices in place.
  • To ensure that ALL paper works & inputting are completed on time and as per the Systems & Procedures in place. To ensure that reception of ALL incoming and outgoing materials to and from Meaders Feeds Ltd as well as any other offsite premises are done as per the codes of practice of store-keeping and as per the systems & procedures in place and that this is done in the interest of the Company.
  • To ensure that DAILY tracking down of materials and finished feeds are done and reported to reflect the reality of the situation.
  • To give proactive signals to Management concerning Stocks run downs that might adversely affect production.

Unloading Operations.

  • To plan, organise, co-ordinate and supervise all activities pertaining to unloading operations and to manage the personnel assigned to these operations.
  • To ensure that the unloading operations are done within deadlines.
