Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a company in the distributive sector, is looking for a Storekeeper for its Medical Consumables Department.
Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the daily store keeping operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the store of medical consumables – stacking, cleanliness, storage indications
- Ensure that all health & safety measures are strictly adhered to.
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase order.
- Handle all orders in an effective manner and consciously verify all items to be delivered against order details.
- Perform monthly inventories and proactively monitor stock levels for timely re-ordering.
Qualifications:
- Experience of 2 to 3 years as storekeeper
- Diploma in purchasing and supply will be an advantage
Candidate Profile:
- Availability: Remain available outside normal working hours to ensure smooth supply of consumables to Clinics, Hospitals.
- Health and hygiene conscious.
- Communication: Deal with internal and external customers at all levels via telephonic and email, to ensure successful communication via actively listening and probing questions.
- Problem solving: Resolve in-depth queries in a methodical manner independently and with internal and external business.
- Team Player: Enjoy sharing knowledge and encouraging development of others to achieve specific team goals.
- Planning and Organization: Work with planning and organizational skills that balance works and team satisfaction.
- IT: Be well versed in Ms Office.
