Job Purpose
The Job incumbent will have to ensure that the different stores are managed according to set internal standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Service Centre in the implementation of stock management procedures
- Ensure that goods are received and issued as per procedures
- Monitor ageing, faulty, unused and other spare parts on a daily basis
- Report to the Head of Service Centre any discrepancy / and anomaly noted
- Ensure that the scrapping of different items is carried out as per procedures
- Ensure credit notes, transfers and exchange of products are carried out systematically and in a timely manner
- Carry out cycle counts and sample checks
- Ensure that General Inventories are conducted and finalized within set deadlines and in coordination with the internal control team
- Identify training needs of subordinates
- Submit reports to the Head of Service Centre as per requirements and established frequency
- Ensure that the different stores are maintained in a neat and orderly manner
- Any cognate duties
Profile
- Higher School Certificate
- Diploma in stock management
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in the field. An experience in the audit field will be an advantage
- Good Knowledge of MS office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail orientated
- Honest and trustworthy
