The Software developer will be responsible to develop relevant softwares for the firm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Software development and Administration:
• Gather information in respect of systems requirement and design
• Design software application
• Use best practices for coding of software application
• Deployment and Testing of software application
• Perform and oversee software and application development, installation and upgrades
• Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability
• Training of end-users
Support:
• Provides support to staff with technical queries
• Problem and incident resolution
• Escalates any problems or issues through the relevant levels and managers as required
• Attend to outstanding IT requests
• Ensure project documentation is always up-to-date
• Update IT knowledge base
Any other cognate duties which are relevant to the position.
