Senior Programmer/ Test Engineer

Develop innovative systems/application. Build, test and maintain our in house applications written in Java (backend). Design, develop and execute strategic tests and report results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop innovative systems/application by understanding business needs
• Build, test and maintain our in house applications written in Java (backend)
• Create efficient and reliable code
• Design, develop and execute strategic tests and report results
• Write documentation and knowledge database
• Work closely with the team to certify that a system meets functional requirements
• implement diverse QA models, processes and practices
• Log and follow up bugs and issues

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering
• Experience with micro service architecture
• Strong Java coding skills and knowledge of related ecosystem (Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, JUnit)
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Query, Database Modelling UML)
• Strong Interest in technical choices (design, architecture, algorithm)
• Experience in test automation and concepts of Software Quality Assurance
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, SonarQube)
• Knowledge of Apache Flex, Cairngorm 2, Jasper Report, developing tools like Subversion, Eclipse and Maven would be an advantage
• Be familiar with Agile Methodology
• Interest in the Banking and Financial environment
• Very Fluent in French
• Open-minded and rigorous
• Good communication and self-learning skills, ability to work both in team and autonomously
