Adecco is an international recruitment agency. Our client is looking for a Senior Accounts Officer.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities 
The candidate will be in charge of one and later two subsidiaries located in France, for which he will be in charge of:

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly management accounts and other ad-hoc reports as requested by management
  • Preparation of annual accounts for management purposes and in accordance with IAS and IFRS for filing with regulators
  • Review and preparation of VAT (monthly)
  • Preparation and filling of annual/monthly tax returns
  • Manage and reconcile of accounts receivables and accounts payables
  • Manage and review bank reconciliations
  • Review and ensure that all invoices received from creditors are properly input on accounting system
  • Review and prepare payment instructions for transfers upon request
  • Review and prepare cheques for payments to suppliers as and when required
  • Manage related party transactions and reconcile both on the income statement and on the statement of financial position on a monthly basis


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE                                                                                

  • At least 3 years’ experience
  • ACCA partly-qualified or equivalent
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Dynamic & Self Motivated
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Previous experience on Sage Pastel will be an advantage
  • Be proactive and able to work under pressure and within a team.
