Senior Accountant

MyJob is looking for one of his client a Senior Accountant who is fully qualified ACCA.

Responsibilities:

1. Co-ordination with Affiliates

• Monitoring and Reporting of Accounts receivables, Payables, Bank Balances.
• Reviewing of Monthly Profitability Statements sent by Affiliates.
• Co-ordination and Consolidation of Affiliate Reports/Information.
• Reviewing of Overheads vis-à-vis Budget of Affiliates and highlighting deviations, if any.
• Monitor proper implementation of Standard Operating procedures, Schedule of Authority, other internal control processes and highlight deviations.
• Guide Affiliates and monitor on Stock reconciliation, Debtors reconciliation.
• Monitor the timely Completion of Statutory Audits and filling of tax returns.
• Any other activity related to Affiliates.

2. Compliance with Local Taxes like PAYE, NSF, NPF locally.

3. Finalisation of Accounts for local entity.

Candidate Profile:

•  Fully Qualified ACCA
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting techniques and methods (IFRS, audit, etc).
• Comprehensive understanding of internal control principles and their operational translation.
• Methodical with good organising skills
• Strong analytical skills.
