Design and pre-plan of the scaffold erection including weight limitations, scaffold type, fall protection, tie-offs, supports, etc.
Main Duties
- Oversee the erection of the scaffold
- Perform final inspection of the scaffold prior to initial occupation for use.
- Perform daily inspection and documentation of the condition of the scaffold and its ability to be occupied safely.
- Inspect scaffolds after changes / alterations have been made.
- Oversee and inspect mobile scaffolds.
- Train of other competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users.
Qualifications and Experience
- NC4 in Scaffolding
- Qualifications in related construction field would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in construction, with at least two years in a supervisory position

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
