Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the retail/wholesale and distribution sector, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager.

 

Our client, in the retail/wholesale and distribution sector, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible to design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

Main responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Provide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team as well as plan and direct sales team training.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Develop promotional ideas and material.
  • Coach, train and mentor team as appropriate.
  • Attend trade meetings and industry conventions.
  • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts.
  • Follow up of delivery schedules for timely visit of merchandisers.
  • Monitor merchandisers daily check list and conduct back checking & surprise checks when required.

Qualification:

  • Business degree or related professional qualification.
  • Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience in managing and directing a sales team.
  • Experience with relevant software applications.

Candidate profile:

  • Technical sales skills.
  • Knowledge of market research.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & French).
  • Organization and planning.
