The role of the Sales and Marketing Manager (S&MM) is to grow the company’s current market share worldwide with both new and existing customer accounts. The post requires a high degree of international travel and is suited for a dynamic target oriented professional.

 

Reports to: Managing Partner/Partners

Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement a sales and marketing strategy in line with company’s vision
  • Responsible for the sales pipeline development and monitoring
  • Provide regular reporting on sales and marketing progress
  • Adhere to sales processes & methodologies and ensure accurate & timely data input in the customer & prospect database
  • Be the face of the company while dealing with internal and external customers
  • Maintain contact with all customers in the international market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Understand the customer’s future direction and plans and champion this direction within the organization
  • Ensure development of internal and external marketing and communication campaigns including advertising, brochures, newsletters, sales tools, training programs and web-related materials
  • Coordinate all internal and external newsletters
  • Conduct prospecting and lead follow up from marketing activities as required
  • Promote BDO Solutions within selected target markets
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions (changing trends economic indicators) and competitor data.
  • Develop new revenue streams and enhance the revenue from existing customers
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Oversee and where appropriate, manage the performance & coach team
  • Perform any other duties as may be required

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and/or Marketing, MBA is an advantage
  • 6+ years of experience in sales and marketing
  • Digital Marketing experience required
  • Must be able to travel extensively
  • Knowledge in the development, management and execution of sales and business development planning, lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy and development 
  • Excellent Communicator, with drive and ambition, result focused approach
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, passionate and independent
  • Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Strong people skills to develop sustainable customer relationship
  • Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change
  • Strong team player and good leadership skills
  • Cultural sensitivity.
  • Good Negotiations skills
  • Experience in professional services environment and/or Knowledge of the accounting/HR outsourcing sector would be a plus
