To overview the Sales and Events functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
- Undertakes local sales calls to acquire new business and/or close on business
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate operational details of events such as conferences, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, charity events, surprise parties, trade shows, sales meetings, business meetings, employee appreciation events and virtual events.
- Supports the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
- Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail in its market areas
- Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible
Key Competencies and Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel field -sales and events preferably
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, events or any related field
