Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, provider of industrial equipment, is looking for a Sales Coordinator.

 

Our client, provider of industrial equipment, is looking for a Sales Coordinator.

The successful candidate will maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers and work closely with the Sales Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
  • Help & Guide the customer in the choice of a product.
  • Become specialist in the sales of company products.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with customer.
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
  • Follow up of orders with the customer service team.
  • Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
  • Liaising with foreign suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with manufacturer.
  • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales director.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Take ownership of customer’s issues and follow problems through to resolution.
  • Request assistance from the manufacturers.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven experience of 3 years’ minimum in a relevant position. 

Candidate profile:

  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Excel, Pastel).
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales.
  • Knowledge of customer service principle.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Notion of logistics (incoterm).
  • Notion of import.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, assertive personality and easy communicator.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Passionate, self-motivation & ambition.
  • Teamwork.
  • Flexible in working hours (ability to work until late – 6.30/7.00pm)
