The role of the job incumbent will be to assist the company in complying with current safety and health legislation with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of all internal and external customers of the company
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- To carry out risk assessment for our different facilities and take remedial actions to eliminate identified risks
- To carry out monthly safety visits to our different facilities
- To identify and organize specific training programs as and when required
- To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization
- To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents
- To respond to employees’ safety concerns
- To assist in the running of Health & Safety Committees
- To submit monthly reports of visits and action plans
- Any other duties as assigned
PROFILE - Passionate about Safety and health
- Degree in Occupational Safety and Health
- 3 years’ experience in the field
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detailed oriented and solutions driven
- Proficient in MS office
