RESPONSIBILITIES
The Room Service Manager will be responsible to manage the outlet and its Team Members by creating a vibrant atmosphere through seamless service and attention to detail, bringing energy, creativity and innovative thinking to the running of the operation. The successful applicant will also be responsible to maximize upselling opportunities as well as to guarantee the most efficient operation of the Room Service, offering the maximum in service to hotel guests through good planning and co-ordination internally and with other departments.
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 9 years working experience in Room Service operations in a luxury Hotel.

-A minimum of 4 years working experience as Assistant Room Service Manager in a 4 or 5 star Hotel
REQUIREMENTS
-At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
Tertiary Educational Advanced Certificate at Diploma Level from a recognized institution majoring in Hospitality Management.
-National Certificates 4 or 5 in Restaurant and Room Service.
-Passionate about service
-High levels of Integrity.
-Dynamic, flexible and professional
attitude.
-Outstanding customer service skills.
-Creative and innovative.
-Excellent problem-solving skills.
-Ability to lead and motivate a team efficiently.
-Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- A third language will be a definite advantage.
-Food Handlers’ Medical Certificate.
-Willingness to work during odd hours, Weekends and Public Holidays.
