The Housekeeping attendant i/c rooms is responsible to keep best service and keep guest rooms and adjacent areas in a clean and well maintained condition as well as ensuring that the minibar is correctly furnished as per resort standard.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include but be unlimited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks out side the scope of work described.
  • Apply the standards of excellence in customer service.
  • Cleans and maintains villas and assigned areas according to set standards of Constance Moofushi Resort.
  • Replenishes guest supplies and minibar
  • Ensure that housekeeping cart is always clean and neatly arranged.
  • Ensures guest services specified by superior and guest’s requests are promptly met.
  • Report damages and missing items of hotel rooms to superior
  • Report defects and repairs in terms of decor, equipment fixtures and fitting to Villa Supervisor or HK Clerk.
  • Maintains equipment in proper state of repair.
  • Using cleaning materials and equipment properly.
  • Ensures economical use of all cleaning and guest supplies.
  • Meets with superior and takes on daily assigned tasks.
  • Reports and submits lost and found articles to superior immediately.
  • Responsible for villa key/card while on duty.
  • Responsible for the security of guest properties.
  • Reports any valuable items in the room to the housekeeping clerk
  • Reports unusual behavior / activities on floors to supervisor.
  • Complies with hotel’s health, safety & hygiene policy.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Follow up action as per supervisor’s instruction.
  • Carries out all related duties as instructed by his / her supervisor
  • Provide customer service as per the standards of  the Constance Hotels Experience Group.
  • Deal with all guest queries and complaints swiftly and efficiently.
  • Adhere to the dress, appearance and conduct codes established by the hotel.
  • Maintain that Health and Safety practices are followed at all times.
  • Avoid hazardous habits
  • Use the correct materials and equipment (E.g. sprayers, gloves etc)
  • Report anything that may be considered a Health & Safety hazard.
  • Report all accidents, however minor.
  •   Report anything or anyone suspicious to the Senior Housekeeping supervisor or Duty Manager immediately.
  • Signing in and out for keys (cards).
  • Respect the garbage disposal procedures and recycling procedures
  • Help during unloading of supply dhoni
  • Help housekeeping attendants i/c of rooms or Laundry as and when needed
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
