The Resident Manager is responsible for the overall success of the hotel, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, and ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met.
- Assist the General Manager to manage all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality.
- Provide exemplary performance for team members to follow.
- Support the General Manager and directly manages the day to day running of the hotel, provides direction and guidance to colleagues to achieve and exceed the goals set.
- Ensure active communication with guests.
- Supervise order, safety and cleanliness in the hotel.
- Follow up of all targets assigned by Management and ensure results are achieved.
- Follow up of special requirements given by Management.
- Responsible for the day to day operations of the hotel and ensure that all of the normal daily activities run smoothly.
- Inspect the different facilities of the hotel such as lobby, restaurants and guest rooms and ensure that they are properly clean, sanitized and aesthetically pleasing.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures designed to ensure that each guest has a pleasant stay.
- Ensure that all hotel operations comply with hygiene, safety and health regulations.
