Responsible for a smooth check-in and check-out at the Front Desk ensuring a high standard of customer service. Provides efficient and friendly service throughout the customers’ stay always maximizing the hotel’s revenue.
WORK DUTIES:
Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
- Present a smiling and welcoming personality to the guest at all times.
- Prompt greeting of any customer approaching the Front Desk.
- Requests are handled in a polite, efficient manner and a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
- Ensure a high level of liaison is maintained between Front Office and all other departments within the hotel.
- Ensure the system details go conform according to system and reservation documents.
- Bring any discrepancies to the superior’s attention.
- Prepare the arriving guest documents for filing.
- File documents in the folio cabinet in correct room number order.
- Handle foreign exchange according to company’s credit policy and procedures.
- Ensure that all transactions are processed in the hotel system.
