Rey & Lenferna Ltd, one of the most established engineering companies in Mauritius is looking for a dynamic candidate for the position of Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer.
The job will consist of the following responsibilities and duties:
1. Peform regular inspections to assess the quality of works being performed on/off site and report on any deviation w.r.t drawings and specifications.
2. Carry out inspection and check that site and quality related procedures are being adhered to and report on any deviation.
3. Carry out regular checks in site stores and ensure that storekeeping procedures are being strictly followed.
4. Build up and maintain a quality habit file.
5. Prepare and submit non-compliance reports to Management on a regular basis.
6. Check that all Quality Assurance/Quality Control documents are in place and report on any deviation.
7. Assist management in the preparation of a project quality plan.
8. Devise and implement Quality related KPIs.
9. Perform random checks on sites to assess whether materials ordered have been effectively installed.
10. Any other cognate duties as may be directed by the COO.
Qualifications and experience:
1. Degree in Engineering 2. Two years in a similar job position 3. Holder of a valid driving license 4. Fluent in French and English |
