Production Officer
Production Officer will have the opportunity to work within the Dairy Plant Division of Innodis Ltd
Brief Duties and responsibilities:
- Organise and manage day to day planning of the Bottling & Sleeving section according to the departmental objectives, in the most efficient way, at least cost and highest quality levels.
- Schedule the workforce daily on machines in relation to the daily planning of manpower.
- Ensure continued running of lean management concepts, 5’s’ and MDWT.
- Create batches in a timely manner on Oracle.
- Ensure compliance to Health and safety rules and GMP’s.
- Ensure compliance to ISO22000 procedures or any other food safety management system.
- Perform designated maintenance and operational inspections.
- Record any machine malfunction, maintenance performed on equipment or machinery in the appropriate log book.
- Respond to any alarms and record in the plant log sheet.
- Attend any problem with regards to the system installed on company trucks.
Profile
The ideal candidate should:
- Minimum SC or equivalent qualifications
- At least 1 year on the job experience
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Flexible to work odd hours
- Computer literate
