Process Engineer

Responsible for evaluating existing processes and systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a)  Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.

b)  Maintain reliable and safe production systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.

c)   Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output

d)  Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.

e)  Ensure projects are completed on time.

f)   Work closely with the staff to select most appropriate process improvement techniques

g)  Analyze and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. BEng Mechatronics
2. BEng. Mechanical Engineering
3. BEng Manufacturing Engineering
4. BSc Production & Operation Management
