Pool Attendant

The Pool Attendant is responsible for the smooth operation of the Pool Facilities and is to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. The holder of this position may, at any time, be called to perform any other cognate duties at the request of management.

• To ensure surrounding area of responsibility(pool) is always neat and tidy and free of debris
• Ensure that the Pools are always impeccably maintained.

• To be fully aware of the daily operation, services and procedures
• Maintain all assets with regular care and preventive maintenance as necessary
• Take Chlorine and PH readings daily and report to engineering if unstable

• Adhere to the grooming policy, code of conduct and any other policy related to the department and the hotel.
• Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy 

• Promote Energy efficiency and environment and identify improvement to support the Green Globe Policy.
• Participate in training as and when required by Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience

• A minimum of  1 year experience in the hospitality industry on a similar position

• Experience working in top of the range large luxury resorts of over 180 rooms with refined services for the discerning and demanding traveler.
• A previous international exposure will be an advantage.
• Minimum level of swimming ability

Qualifications

• Form 4 OR equivalent

Language

• Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written
