To supervise and assist the Pastry team in production of a variety of refined pastries and desserts as per international standards in order to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.
OVERVIEW AND SCOPE OF JOB:
To direct and guide the Pastry team in providing a consistent quality of food and beverage in all outlets as per international standards in order to achieve the maximum level of guest satisfaction.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage the Pastry outlet and deliver a premium standard of food quality and presentation;
* Exhibits creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries for all areas;
* Responsible for the quality of all pastry preparations in the kitchen, ensure that the food set and pastry standards are maintained, improved & constantly checks for its taste, temperature and visual appearance.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND HIRING PROFILE:
* Education: Vocational Qualifications in Pastry/ Culinary Arts/ Hotel Management/ Kitchen Management or such related trade or an equivalent qualification;
* Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 five years of extensive experience in similar position in a five star hotel with demonstrated hands on experience;
* Language- High standards of verbal and written communication in English and French;
* Other Skills: Excellent Leadership and Interpersonal Skills, team player.
