To supervise the Painters’ team on site by planning, scheduling, assigning, and monitoring the work as per program of work.Main duties
Main duties
- Schedule, assign, and plan the work of paint crew performing a variety of painting projects
- Plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of painting expenditures and procedures for equipment maintenance
- Estimate material and labour.
- Monitor the procurement and use of materials
- Train employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, and work policies
- Ensure projects are completed within set deadlines and budget
- Perform quality control and ensure quality standards are met as per client specifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical certificate in related field
- Minimum 10 years of proven working experience in a similar position, with at least 2 years in at a supervisory level
Other Requisites
- Self-organiser, with excellent problem-solving and people management skills
- Able to handle pressure and work within tight deadlines
- Holder of a valid and clean driving license
