Job Purpose

The job incumbent will have to coordinate the operations of the different showrooms

 Key roles and responsibilities

  • Coordinate between showroom supervisors, operations team leaders and various support business units
  • Prepare daily sales and stocks report
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians who should upkeep sites w.r.t electrical, mechanical and civil works
  • Monitor contract-out services (cleaning, security, pest control, sanitary, AC maintenance, shutters maintenance, CCTV)
  • Ensure retail sites comply with H&S recommendations.
  • Handle furniture & fit-outs in sites. Coordinate with suppliers where needed.
  • Monitor utilities and vehicle fleet expenses.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and prepare sites for trade shows, clearance sales, Infotech, etc
  • Ensure showrooms comply with legal requirements in terms of trading licence, fire certificate, ICTA & MASA certification.
  • Handle projects within existing sites & coordinate with project dept.
  • Monitor level of office supplies, stationaries & cleaning items for showrooms

 Competencies & Skills required

  • A diploma or degree holder, preferably in management
  • Well versed in IT especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical abilities
  • Ability to deal and negotiate with statutory authorities, landlords, showroom service providers and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of ERP (preferably Navision) will be an advantage.
