SUMMARY
Checkout.com is actively looking for a talented Operational Finance Associate with solid data manipulation and Excel skills, as well as the ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.

The Operational Finance Associate will join our Operational Finance team and drive the consolidation and presentation of Operational Finance data, and work with the team to further optimise and automate our processes. To that end, the successful candidate will collect multi-faceted data from multiple sources, analyse variances/ discrepancies in our Operational Finance movements and present actionable information in a meaningful way to support various internal stakeholders and drive the decision making process.

The ideal candidate will need to be laser-focused with exceptional eyes for detail.

This role is a 3 months contract.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
> Daily capture/extraction of processing, settlement and bank movements data
> Identification of any discrepancies and analysis of variances
> Escalation of relevant points to internal stakeholders
> Production of daily summary reports and accurate business intelligence data to Management


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
> 1-2 years’ experience extracting/manipulating data from various sources (e.g. Excel files)
> Highly comfortable working with Excel
> Organised with the ability to work autonomously
> Collaborative, with good communication skills
> Good attention to detail with the ability to detect anomalies and trends
> BSc in Finance, Economics or equivalent
> Fluency in English
