RESPONSIBILITIES
* To conduct training under Senior Network Technician/Network Engineer.
*To perform network troubleshooting at Customers place within our covered region.
* To ensure that CPE (Customer premises equipment) intervention is being done within provided time frame.
* To be responsible for the operational maintenance of equipment.
* To compile information and problems related to intervention and other technical matters with submission of reports.
* Ensure the follow up of planning given and that schedule of work is being completed as per planning.
* Ensure connection and configuration of ONU/Router (Optical Network Unit) is being done correctly at customer premises.
* Perform any other cognate, duties compatible with your post as may be assigned by management/Project team.
* Should be ready to work odd hours and Public Holidays.
QUALIFICATION
* Cambridge Higher School Certificate with passes at Principal Level in
at least two subjects including Computer science or Passes in at least two
subjects including Computer Science at the General Certificate of Education
“Advance Level”.
* A Certificate/Diploma from a recognized institution in one of the following fields or
In a related field:
i) Networking
ii) Telecommunication Engineering
iii) Electronic with Computer Science
iv)Information technology.
OR
An equivalent qualification to A and B.
* Candidate should have a good background in Networking.
*Candidate should possess a valid license.
CCNA certification would be an advantage.
