Tex international ltd is a global design manufacturer specializing in knits, knitwear and denim with multiple factories and production facilities across Mauritius, Bangladesh and India, that supply an extensive range of quality fashion apparel for leading international retailers and e-tailers.

 

Qualifications and Attributes

  • BSC in Textile/Marketing/Management/Commerce/from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of European market portfolio and clients 
  • Know-how of local and foreign fabrics and accessories and Trims
  • Well versed in Microsoft office tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • At least 3-5 years in similar position or equivalent 
  • Good numerical abilities
  • Fashion oriented

Responsibilities

  • Lead a 6-7 teams of merchandisers on the European/South African markets and customers.
  • Manage, Supervise and responsible for the day to day work of the different merchandiser teams in the daily operations.
  • Checking and approving the production order sheets to be sent to factories, • Ensure the Proforma invoices process
  • Purchase orders and Purchase request
  • Ensure Costing sheets reflect profitability
  • Ensure each team is up to date with the Critical path within lead time
  • Intervene with factories to resolves issues • Lead different departmental meetings
  • Liaise and provide updates with the UK Office on different topics
  • Liaise with Planning Dept., Fabric Dept., Shipping Debt. and Production team daily to provide and retrieve information
  • Ensure correct and accurate information from clients is being sent to Factories • Ensure Factories provide information
  • Take corrective measures as and when required
  • Ensure the weekly sample, delivery schedule & export analysis.
  • Attending buyers and customers meetings.
  • Travelling at least twice a year to meet customers to secure orders and to maintain a good relationship
  • Liaise with customers/buyers on different queries
  • Liaise with export/import facilitators, 8. Liaise with Accounts dept. and Production Managers at the factories
