Management Control Assistant (Young Graduate Program)

Total Mauritius Ltd is currently recruiting one young graduate of Mauritian nationality to discover one of our main business lines; Finance, for a period of 18 months (6 months local, 12 months abroad in an African country.

ABOUT THE YOUNG GRADUATE PROGRAM:

Total Mauritius Ltd is currently recruiting one young graduate of Mauritian nationality to discover one of our main business lines; Finance, for a period of 18 months. The graduate will have the opportunity to work with our Finance team for 6 months as ‘Management Control Assistant’ before moving to another African country for the remaining 12 months to continue the program.

DUTIES

Monthly tasks:
•Extraction of sales/margin reports from SAP to excel
•Follow-up of top 10 customers’ margins per business field (General trade, Lubes and LPG bulk)
•Fixed cost / other analysis when required
•Production of monthly fixed costs reporting (real costs YTD versus Budgeted versus Commitments)
•Extraction and analysis of NCA COCO reports

Capex: To follow-up on commitments and liquidations of investment projects
•To update the Capex file on a weekly basis

Optima and other tasks:
•To check data on purchase requests
•Creation of basic client master data in SAP

PREREQUISITES

•Bachelor Degree / Masters (preferably in Finance/Accounting)
•At least intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
•Good knowledge of the macro economy
•Fluent in English and French
•Has less than one year post graduate professional experience
•Be geographically mobile and be willing to spend 1 year abroad
•Be easily adaptable to different environments
