Maintenance Assistant

Casela Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated candidate for the position of Maintenance Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general basic electrical installations, replacement of bulbs & electrical equipment and research of fault on circuits.
• Perform general plumbing duties including basic installation, unblocking of pipes, replacement of taps and faulty equipment.
• Perform Carpentry repairs.
• Perform a variety of routine physical labor tasks, depending upon area of assignment.
• Perform cleanup at the end of the day or when the job is completed, including picking up tools, spills, and debris, cleaning work areas and performing touch-up work as needed.
• Deliver maintenance and repair services such as electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry and other handyman jobs.
• Attend to emergency interventions.
• Record key information (meter reading for water and electricity etc…)

Candidate’s Profile

• Willing to work at odd hours to meet deadlines and/or standby during functions/events scheduled in the evening
• Electricity – Advanced knowledge in medium/low voltage electrical installation works/troubleshooting. Knowledge in general testing of electrical installations is a definite advantage.
• Plumbing – Advanced knowledge in plumbing duties including basic & advanced plumbing installation, unblocking of pipes, replacement of taps and fault finding on equipment/installation. Knowledge in fault finding & repairs on pump set system & solar water heater is a definite advantage.
• Advanced knowledge in refrigerated system – installation/troubleshooting/repairs on kitchen equipment & AC system. Knowledge in VRV system is a definite advantage.
• At least 3 years’ working experience in a maintenance environmental workplace
