MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC

OBJECTIVE • To work in the Garage/Transport department. • To attend breakdown on road around the island. • To work at Margarine Industries premise as & when required. • To work at any other place requested by management as & when required.

Key DUTIES & Responsibilities

1. To carry out the following, on motor vehicles, trucks, light vehicles, forklifts, generator, bobcat, loaders, quad bike, motor cycle/bicycle and any other equipments, as per instructions:

1.1  Service, maintain and repair of the above;

1.2  Diagnose and repair faults;

1.3  Dismantle, clean and reassemble all parts of the above;

1.4  Adjust brakes, steering system, clutch system, suspensions systems on the above;

1.5  Keep clean and in good conditions tools in your custody;

1.6  Keep place of work in clean condition;

1.7  Perform welding works as & when required.

1.8  Any other cognate duties.

COMPETENCIES
