Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, forming part of a local group and in the IT sector, is looking for an Infrastructure Services and Data Centre Manager.

 

Our client, forming part of a local group and in the IT sector, is looking for an Infrastructure Services and Data Centre Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee and coordinate the overall IT infrastructure architecture as per the Group IT Strategy.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic IT Infrastructure implementation to achieve business goals by prioritizing technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future technologies;
  • Oversee and coordinate lifecycle management for all server and storage infrastructure architecture, business continuance and service restoration strategies;
  • Continually evaluate the current state of the company data centre application architecture and services against business goals and objectives, and adapt operational strategies to maintain alignment;
  • Coordinate the on-going activities of the Infrastructure Support Services team, inclusive of oversight for the related IT Project portfolio as well as on going incident response management;
  • Work closely with the Group companies to develop IT Infrastructure Strategies, lead their migration to new technologies, and address their on-going operational needs;
  • Manage and monitor annual budgets and expenditure for the Data Centre;
  • Participate in recruitment, development and retention in accordance with HR policies.

Qualification:

  • University Bachelor/Master Degree in Information Technology;
  • Have at least 6 years of experience in Data Centre Management/ Infrastructure Support Services Management;

Candidate profile:

  • Versatile on Microsoft Technology platforms;
  • Extensive knowledge of groupware applications, underlying platforms and outsourced systems, including all of the following: Virtualisation, Firewall, Microsoft Application Platform such as Exchange 2013, Windows server 2012 R2;
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent Leadership, Negotiation, Analytical and Customer Service competencies;
  • Ability to apply technology solutions to business problems;
  • Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and ability to coach/mentor others.
