Information Security Analyst

To monitor and review all logical security at Emtel Ltd, and ensure that appropriate security levels are adequately implemented and monitored, in line with best practice and in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures.

Preferred qualifications:

• Minimum University Degree preferably in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent.
• CCNA , CEH , MCSE certification will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience (Number of years/products and services/industry)

• 2-5 Years of experience in related field in ICT industry

Duties and responsibilities

1. To monitor and review all physical and logical security at Emtel Ltd, and ensure that appropriate security levels are adequately implemented and monitored, in line with best practice and in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures.
2. To protect Emtel information and its infrastructure from external and internal threats; and to assure that Emtel complies with the statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security and privacy.
3. To analyze output of Security Monitoring tools and recommend Security measures and guidelines for existing and new projects.
4. Carry out pre and post-launch Security risk assessments of new projects or changes that have significant impact on business and customers.
5. Carry out audits assessment for different type of certifications.
6. Respond to security alerts, elevating when needed.
