IT technical support staff diagnose and solve software and hardware problems for computer users. You'll also need a working knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Job Description (Brief)
- Provide first level Computer Services support for all users requiring assistance, guidance, or experiencing difficulties in the use of computer equipment and applications.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications; Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Monthly preventive maintenance tasks on Computers, Printers and other network devices.
- Cabling and Networking when such needs arise
- Deploying enterprise applications and provide first-hand training when required
Qualifications:
• Min HSC
• Certificate/Diploma in Computing
• MCP/MCSA/CCNA will be an advantage
• Desirable: A+ and N+ Certification and Knowledge of Linux
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
