Health and Safety Officer

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, operating in the textile industry, is looking for a Health and Safety Officer.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day health and safety operations at the place of work.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Be the Health and Safety Champion in factory.
• Carry out Health and Safety Audits both on production floor and in Dormitories.
• Carry out risk assessment in view of minimizing risks and hazards.
• Ensure that all legal requirements regarding Health and Safety is enforced.
• Advise management on all Health and Safety related subject.
• Assist in all factory audits.   

Qualification: 

• Recognised university degree in Occupational Health and Safety.

Candidate profile:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector. .
• Sharp, analytical and methodical. 
• Available to travel for short to medium term assignments as and when required
