Front Office Supervisor- Le Suffren Hotel & Marina

Core Duties       

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in the supervision and daily operations of the Front Office department
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints and problems in an efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Supervise daily shift process ensuring all front office staff adheres to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all guest telephone calls and messages are handled quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure that all accounting and legal procedures are carried out in accordance with the hotel policy.
  • Liaise closely with all concerned departments to ensure that optimum numbers of rooms are available and incoming guests’ requirements are met.
  • Perform the room allocation on the system by correctly using all information provided by reservation dossier and requirements.
  • Monitor guest accounts.
  • Verify that cashier float is in accordance with cashier closure and that all credit card slips and payment are well effected.
  • Ensure that all reports and guests documentation are properly filed. Use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms nights, increase occupancy and revenue of rooms and late check out to potential guests and hotel transfers.
  • Ensure safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting any suspicious activity to FOM, HM or security.
  • Any other cognate duties.

Desired Profile

  • Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
  • Knowledge of Opera
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar position in a 4 star hotel.
  • Outgoing with an excellent grooming and a pleasant personality.
  • Customer-oriented and sales driven.
  • Flexible
  • Ability to lead a team and to work autonomously
