CA Global, recruitment division of Africa HR Solutions, is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Clerk for one of its clients in Mauritius. The ideal candidate will execute daily tasks with a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Review written documents with an attention to detail.
- Compile and summarize financial data.
- Organize and prioritize assignments.
- Research and resolve problems.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Maintain and reconcile a variety of ledgers and accounts, examine accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and correct financial records as necessary.
- Prepare reports required by auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of experience in the same field.
- ACCPAC and Caseware knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills both oral and written (French and English).
- Reporting skills, detail oriented, time management skills, organizational skills
- Can work under pressure, able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to show initiative and take responsibility.
- Strong MS Office skills.
