Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, an NGO, is looking for a Finance & Operations Officer.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting facilities to enable financial, administrative and operational autonomy of programme units.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and compile budget expenditure, efficiency of resources utilisation and recommend timely remedial measures.
- Conduct internal checks/ audit of utilisation of resources and assets.
- Ensure proper bookkeeping and safe-keeping of financial records.
- Assist with the administration of payroll.
- Supervise the Administrative/ Finance team in facilities.
- Organise refresher training on administrative / finance issues.
- Statistics – Keep accurate monthly records of number of beneficiaries and maintain database.
Qualifications:
- At least HSC, ACCA II with three (3) years of experience in the accounting field.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel and Word and strong experience in the use of accounting software.
- Experience with Navision (Microsoft NAV) is an advantage.
- Work experience of a payroll system.
- Good written and oral business communication skills.

- Sense of reliability and confidentiality to provide backup to the Finance Manager.
