Estimator (Aluminium)

Assist in all estimating activities and follow-up ongoing projects

Main duties:

• Estimate quantity of materials and prepare costing of tenders
• Take off quantities from plans and prepare BOQ
• Prepare materials requirements for production
• Advise clients on technical matters
• Liaise with clients, architects and engineers
• Prepare cutting list for production
• Deliver production sheets to factory
• Ensure timely delivery of openings to site
• Prepare and present updated reports on progress of works
• Work within established budget requirements

 Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Estimating / Quantity Surveying
•  At least 3 years of experience in similar position (manufacturing environment) with proven experience in aluminum 
•  Possess working knowledge of Construction/ Project Management
•  Fully conversant with shop drawings/construction drawings
• Computer literate (MS Office & AutoCAD)
