Assist the electrical department on the day to day basis by analysing, solving and preventing any electrical problems that might arise
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures
- Perform maintenance tasks e.g.: troubleshooting on machines, repairs of equipment and calibration.
- Provide mechanical support as needed and ensure a safe power distribution together with a safe work environment.
- Ensure the preventive maintenance plan is being implemented and there is zero breakdown due to lack of Preventive maintenance.
- Test electricial systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices
- Report back to superior whenever help or additional expertise if needed.
Qualification and experience
- Should hold NTC2 or HND in electronics/ electro-technics/ electrical instrumentation or any similar
- 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in industry
- Should be able to write, read and understand English &/ French
- Candidate with experience from an industry would be advantage
