KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Will follow a training of 12 months;
• Rough diamond plotting & planning to evaluate rough diamonds in terms of quality & value, including basic rough diamond sorting using a microscope;
• Use of computer-aided diamond mapping software to plot & plan rough diamonds;-
• Support QC Preparation team to ensure process flow procedures & instructions are strictly followed;
• Ensure the value of rough diamonds are optimised;
• Ensure security procedures are followed & maintained at all times;
• To take personal responsibility and accountability for QC Preparation results both as an individual and member of the QC team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Higher School Certificate holders preferred, in a physics or mathematics subject;
• Highly numerate & detail orientated;
• Computer literate, with Advanced Excel skills preferred;
• Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and follow-up skills;
• Willing to work overtime as and when required;
• Consistent, accurate and precise decision making;
• Teamworking.
