Debtors Controller

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a well-known Company in the construction industry, is looking for a Debtors Controller.

Our client, a well-known Company in the construction industry, is looking for a Debtors Controller.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to ensure the company policies and procedures are adhered to in respect of handling debtor accounts and timeously alert the management to potential collection problems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Administering Debtors / Debt collection. Follow up on outstanding accounts, contact debtors and request payment, provision debt / clients’ fee debt reports
• Maintaining debtor’s files and supporting documentation regarding debtors accounts
• Weekly preparation / reconciliation of documents for processing
• Reporting to management on outstanding debtors
• Ensure debtor collection are in line with the agreed budget process, i.e. timeframes
• Supply input to the annual budget process and highlight monthly fluctuations timeously

Qualifications:

• At least an ACCA Level 2 qualification or an equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in debtor’s collection
